Ombre Heart Cross Stitch
Ombre is such a huge trend right now, so I figured I would get a little creative and this is what I came up with. I already had all of the supplies which makes this project even better. I hope to do more of these ombre heart cross stitchings in the future. Right now I am working on a bigger cross stitch project that involves even more colorful hearts. More pictures to be posted soon.

Too Pretty To Cover Up
I just fell in love with this paper, its from a DCWV paper pack that I got for 1/2 price at Joanns. I needed a quick birthday card for a friend and this is what I came up with. Just one simple stamped "make a wish" backed with some dimensionals, layered with a grey circle and a blue scalloped circle from Stamping Up.

Mom's Birthday Card
This year I've decided to get ahead start on my birthday, anniversary, and holiday cards. This 4 by 4 card is for my mother's birthday in October. Her favorite colors are pink and black, so I think she will just love this one. I used the Swirls embossing folder on the hot pink background, which is monted on a black paper card base. I also used my new Sizzix, Stamping Up, Embosslits "Beautiful Wings" with various scraps of pink and black paper. Lastly added a few gems and a ribbon (also in the $1 section).
Bright & Cheery
Three by three cards are soooo much fun to make! So quick and easy. For this card I had a 3 inch card base that just needed to be used up, I ran the edge through the Cuddlebug with one the cute border embossers. I tied some that I found in the $1 bin at the local craft store, added a green flower that tied in with the ribbon, and stamped a Close to My Heart phrase on the front. Simple, cute, and good for just about anything!
You're Too Kind
I just love the new Sale-A-Bration set, Whimsical Words, from Stamping Up. I've been trying to use up some of the scraps that are just collection dust. I used the 1 1/2 inch circle punch for the 6 pink circles and the 1 3/8 inch cricle punch for the glittery circles on top. I added the "You're too kind" backed with a few dimensionals. I finished this card off with a Scor-pal frame 1/2 inch in on each side. Something quick and simple.
